The Role:
The Senior Data Insights and MI Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving data-led decision-making across Vanquis by leading the development and maintenance of insights reporting and legacy data marts. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across Risk, Credit Management, Marketing, Business Change, BI/IT, and Finance.
As a Data Insights & MI Senior Analyst, you will:
- Plan, develop, and deliver strategic, data-driven projects that translate complex analytics into actionable business insights.
- Manage and evolve legacy data marts, ensuring they remain aligned with changing business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, define, and refine data requirements.
- Shape the data infrastructure landscape by defining robust requirements.
- Produce and deliver regular insight reports that adhere to governance standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years reporting systems experience, Power BI is highly beneficial.
- 3+ years coding experience, preferably SAS and SQL.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve complex challenges through strategic thinking.
- Proven capacity to work independently with objectivity and sound judgment.
- Experience of data, reporting & analytics within a Credit Risk or Financial Services environment.
