Lead Integration and Cloud Solution Architect in Bradford

As a Lead Integration and Cloud Solution Architect, you'll lead the design of major cross-domain solutions, define reusable integration and cloud patterns, and guide teams towards secure, resilient and scalable outcomes. How you’ll make an impact:

• Lead the design of major, cross-domain end-to-end solutions so that business and technology change is supported by scalable designs that meet present and future needs.
• Shape high-level architecture with architects, product owners, technical leads and business analysts so that requirements are translated into clear, consistent and deliverable solution designs.
• Define and promote reusable API, integration and cloud patterns so that duplication is reduced and teams can deliver secure, resilient solutions more efficiently.
• Ensure designs meet functional, non-functional, regulatory and security requirements so that solutions align with architecture strategy, governance and industry best practice.
• Identify and escalate proposed deviations from target architecture so that architecture risks are visible, governed and resolved through the right forums.
• Coach, mentor and share knowledge across architecture and engineering teams so that capability grows and standards are applied consistently across the technology estate.

• Microsoft Azure and AWS - Hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud architecture
• REST, SOAP and GraphQL
• OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT and Mutual TLS
• Event-driven architecture - Monitoring, observability and operational support models
• Containers and Kubernetes concepts
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Essential experience:

• Significant experience as a Solution Architect, Integration Architect or Cloud Architect in enterprise-scale environments.
• A proven track record of delivering large-scale integration and complex end-to-end business and technology solutions.
• Deep expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API-led connectivity, REST, SOAP, GraphQL and event-driven architecture.
• Strong Microsoft Azure and AWS architecture experience across hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of API security, cloud networking, identity, resilience, observability, CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Confident stakeholder management, influencing, communication and mentoring skills, with experience working within architecture governance frameworks.

Useful, but not essential:

• TOGAF, MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional certification.
• Experience in banking or financial services.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Data Cloud, Experience Cloud, MuleSoft Composer, Salesforce integrations or Snowflake.
