Job Description:
Role Overview: Reporting to the Senior Manager, Pricing and Portfolio Management, the Strategic Analytics Manager will shape the commercial management of the Vehicle Finance business, driving profitable growth through data-driven insights, portfolio optimization, and strategy development. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and a focus on customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead a commercial analytical framework for vehicle finance performance.
- Optimize portfolio profitability, balancing volume growth with returns.
- Analyze internal and external data to identify commercial opportunities.
- Work with sales and product teams to enhance competitiveness and product offerings.
- Maintain relationships with finance, credit risk, and analytics teams to ensure effective pricing models.
- Support the development of data infrastructure within Gateway.
- Mentor team members and collaborate across the Group.
- Represent the team in leadership discussions and decision-making.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience in management of Lending P&L, preferably in consumer or digital lending sectors.
- Strong quantitative, credit analytics, and portfolio management skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Understanding of FCA/PRA regulated environments.
- Degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
