We are seeking a strategic leader to drive the evolution of alternative data usage - particularly open banking transactional data - across affordability and credit risk strategies for Loans, Vehicle Finance, and Credit Cards. This role represents a key leadership position within the UK industry, influencing the development and implementation of data-led approaches that expand access to credit for underserved segments of the population.
As a Senior Credit Risk Manager, you will:
- Provide leadership and serve as a role model within the broader strategy function, fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurial thinking.
- Effectively influence cross-functional teams, including Technology & Change, and Data & Analytics.
- Lead a cross-functional team dedicated to developing and enhancing credit strategy, focusing on lending policy and the strategic use of open banking data.
- Coordinate projects aimed at achieving an ambitious future vision to change lending for the better.
- Ensure effective engagement with customers at different points in the lending journey.
- Create innovative ways to look at the data 'value exchange' throughout the customer onboarding process.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous growth.
- Drive the optimisation of lending decisions through test and learn initiatives.
- Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels across the Group to secure alignment and deliver meaningful change.

What We're Looking For:
