We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Project Manager with a background in the rail industry to join our clients expanding rail team in Warwickshire. Our client is a well-established company that specialises in mechanical and electrical (M&E) works, civil engineering (Civils), and signalling and telecommunications (S&T) within the rail sector. Available on a long term contract or a permanent basis, this role is working on a long‑term project and primed for professionals seeking stability and growth in their careers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical projects within the rail sector, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. While high voltage (HV) experience is not essential, a solid understanding and experience with low voltage (LV) systems are required.

Key Responsibilities as an Electrical Project Manager:
  • Project Management: Plan, execute, and finalise rail projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third‑party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.
  • LV Systems: Demonstrate a thorough understanding and practical experience with low voltage (LV) systems in the rail environment.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams. Ensure clear communication and understanding of project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols. Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the project team.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met. Prepare regular reports on project status, including financial performance.
  • Resource Allocation: Identify and allocate resources (both human and material) effectively to achieve project goals.
