We are working in close partnership with a leading financial services client to recruit an experienced Programme Director for an initial 6-month contract. This is a high-impact opportunity for a senior professional with a strong track record in banking or consulting to drive complex programmes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large-scale, business-critical programmes with clear milestones and deliverables
- Engage effectively with senior stakeholders, including regular presentations to ExCo-level audiences
- Provide concise updates, drive alignment, and ensure strategic objectives are met
- Support and guide teams through ambiguity and change, maintaining momentum and focus
Requirements:
- Strong background in financial services, preferably banking or top-tier consulting
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills – must be able to influence and present to executive-level stakeholders
- Proven ability to work at pace in fast-changing environments
- Solid Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
- Able to start within the next 3 weeks
- Flexibility to be on-site 3 days per week in either Sheffield or Birmingham
