Are you a skilled Business Analyst with a deep understanding of equities and corporate actions ? We\’re working with a leading financial services client who’s looking for a sharp, detail-oriented analyst to join their team on a contract basis .

📍 Location: Sheffield (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)

📅 Duration: 6 months (with potential to extend)

🎯 Your Role:

In this key role, you’ll be responsible for gathering and translating business requirements within the equities domain , with a particular focus on corporate actions . You’ll collaborate across operations, technology, and front-office teams to support change initiatives and deliver critical enhancements to platforms and processes.

🧠 What You’ll Bring:

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst in financial services , ideally within investment banking or asset management .
• Solid understanding of the equities trading lifecycle .
• Proven knowledge of corporate actions (e.g., dividends, mergers, rights issues).
• Ability to work with stakeholders to elicit, challenge, and document clear business and functional requirements.
• Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and interpersonal.
• Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments is a plus.

• Exposure to regulatory change projects.
• Knowledge of post-trade operations and settlements .
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
