Are you a skilled Business Analyst with a deep understanding of equities and corporate actions? We're working with a leading financial services client who’s looking for a sharp, detail-oriented analyst to join their team on a contract basis.
Location: Sheffield (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
Duration: 6 months (with potential to extend)

Your Role: In this key role, you’ll be responsible for gathering and translating business requirements within the equities domain, with a particular focus on corporate actions. You’ll collaborate across operations, technology, and front-office teams to support change initiatives and deliver critical enhancements to platforms and processes.
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, ideally within investment banking or asset management.
- Solid understanding of the equities trading lifecycle.
- Proven knowledge of corporate actions (e.g., dividends, mergers, rights issues).
- Ability to work with stakeholders to elicit, challenge, and document clear business and functional requirements.
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and interpersonal.
