We are supporting a leading financial services organisation in the appointment of a Cybersecurity Awareness Manager to join their Cybersecurity Education & Awareness function on an initial contract through to the end of the year. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver a customer-facing cybersecurity awareness proposition across multiple global business areas, helping position cybersecurity capability as a strategic differentiator.

The Role

You will play a key role in defining and delivering scalable cybersecurity training and awareness initiatives aimed at customers across corporate, institutional, retail and wealth segments. Working closely with senior cybersecurity leaders, relationship management teams, fraud specialists and third-party partners, you will design high-impact awareness materials, learning pathways and engagement initiatives that drive measurable value. This role blends content strategy, stakeholder engagement, product ownership and performance measurement within a complex, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce scalable cybersecurity awareness materials, including:
  • Crisis simulations
  • Insight papers and written content
  • Act as Product Owner for:
    • The cybersecurity page on the internal sales enablement platform
    • Cybersecurity learning pathways for Relationship Managers and other client-facing roles
  • Gather and document requirements from business stakeholders and CISO teams to shape the customer cyber awareness offering
  • Work closely with internal cybersecurity teams (including Legal, Fraud, and Threat Intelligence) to ensure content is relevant, accurate and insight-led
  • Collaborate with third-party partners to repackage or develop new awareness initiatives
  • Define and track measurable outcomes and value realisation for awareness activity
  • Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring all materials are engaging, practical and commercially relevant
  • Qualifications

    • Proven experience designing and delivering training, education or awareness campaigns (cybersecurity, risk or operational resilience preferred)
    • Strong stakeholder engagement experience across complex organisations
    • Experience gathering requirements and translating them into structured deliverables
    • Experience managing content within a CMS or internal enablement platform
    • Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality, engaging materials
    • Experience using tools such as: Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio), SharePoint or similar collaboration platforms, Internal learning or engagement platforms
    • Financial services or regulated environment experience
    • Knowledge of operational resilience, business continuity and cyber defence concepts
    • Familiarity with behavioural science or learner psychology principles
    • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project or Monday.com
    • Data analysis and impact measurement experience
