6-Month Initial Contract | Location: Glasgow | Inside IR35

We are hiring on behalf of a leading consultancy for an experienced Service Architect to join a high-impact Observability Programme within a major enterprise environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape and deliver an operating model that will underpin digital transformation efforts and drive service excellence.

You will play a key role in designing and implementing a fully productionised Observability Service, working across a suite of industry-leading tools including Elastic Cloud, BMC Helix, NetScout, BMC Patrol, Entuity, and ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design a scalable Observability Service Architecture aligned to digital transformation goals, leveraging a globally selected toolset.
  • Lead integration strategy for Automation and AIOps, working closely with technical teams to ensure alignment with real-world use cases.
  • Define controls and operational processes for successful transition to BAU, with clear KPIs, SLAs, and CAF compliance in mind.
  • Collaborate with IT Security to assess, document, and mitigate any security concerns related to the new service.
  • Design onboarding/removal processes for new applications, infrastructure, and cloud projects, ensuring observability is embedded in solution design and project governance.
  • Assess existing service integration processes, identifying gaps and opportunities to improve alignment with PMO and governance frameworks.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience delivering Observability Operating Models in complex environments.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise observability tools and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of service architecture, governance, automation, AIOps, and compliance standards.
  • Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive strategic outcomes.
