We are seeking an experienced Resource Managerto join a leading financial services organisation in Edinburgh. This is a 6-month initial contract, offering hybrid working, and an opportunity to make a tangible impact on high-profile change initiatives.

The Role:
You will be responsible for managing resource planning and allocation across multiple projects and programmes, ensuring the right people are in the right roles at the right time. This includes working closely with project managers, PMO, and business leaders to forecast demand, optimise utilisation, and ensure delivery capability aligns with strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain resource plans in line with project and programme requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to manage allocation, backfill, and onboarding.
• Monitor utilisation and capacity, identifying gaps or risks early.
• Support recruitment and contractor engagement processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date resource management data and reports.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Resource Manager or similar role in a complex, multi-project environment.
• Background in financial services or other regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of project delivery frameworks and PMO functions.
• Skilled in resource forecasting, planning tools, and reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Contract Details:

• Duration:6 months initial (extension likely)
• IR35:Inside IR35 must work via an approved umbrella company
• Location:Edinburgh (23 days per week on-site)
