Overview:

We are seeking an experiencedContract Project Managerto join a leadingfinancial services clienton an initial6-month contract. The role isfull-time, operating on ahybrid basiswith3 days per week onsite in Sheffield. The successful candidate will lead key projects focused on theuplift, security enhancement, and optimization of Managed File Transfer (MFT) systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a critical initiative to enhance and secure Managed File Transfer (MFT) capabilities across the organization.
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of MFT infrastructure upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum compliance.
  • Work cross-functionally with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to deliver secure file transfer workflows.
  • Manage third-party vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within scope.
  • Report on project progress, risks, and milestones to senior management and governance forums.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory and internal security policies throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong track record as aProject Managerdeliveringtechnology and infrastructure projectswithinfinancial services.
  • Deep understanding ofManaged File Transfer (MFT)technologies and processes.
  • Hands-on experience withIBM MFT tools, includingConnect:Direct.
  • Familiarity withworkload automation,secure file transfer protocols, anddata security compliance.
  • Experience leading uplift or modernization projects involving secure file exchange.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, risk management, and communication skills.
