RoleOverview

WeareseekinganexperiencedProgrammeManagertoleadacomplex,multi-regionaldatacentremigrationandtransformationprogramme.Thisrolewillbecriticalinoverseeingtheplanning,coordination,andsuccessfuldeliveryofmigratingkeyITservicesacrosstheUK,US,Poland,andHongKong.BasedinSheffield,thepositionrequiresclosecollaborationwithglobalteamsandflexibilitytosupportUStimezoneswhennecessary.

KeyResponsibilities

• Leadthefulllifecycleofalarge-scaledatacentremigrationprogramme,frominitiationthroughtodeliveryandclosure.
• Managethemigrationofmainframeandserver-basedjobschedulingapplications,aswellasenterprisefiletransmissionservices.
• Directadeliveryteamofapproximately5080full-timeemployees(FTEs)locatedacrossmultipleregions.
• Deliverbusinessandtechnicaltransformationoutcomesnotjustalift-and-shiftmigration.
• Coordinatewithtechnicalleads,projectmanagers,andcross-functionalstakeholderstoensureprogrammealignmentandtimelyexecution.
• Proactivelyidentifyandmanagerisks,issues,anddependenciestomaintaindeliverymomentum.
• Provideregularreportingandgovernanceupdatestoseniorstakeholdersandprogrammesponsors.

EssentialSkills&Experience

• Provenexperiencedeliveringcomplexdatacentremigrations,ideallywithatransformationcomponent.
• Deepunderstandingofmainframeenvironments,jobschedulingsystems,andsecurefiletransfertechnologies.
• Strongbackgroundinleadingglobaldeliveryteamsacrossmultipletimezones.
• Demonstratedabilitytoworkinhybridandmatrixedenvironmentswithdistributedteams.
• Excellentcommunication,leadership,andstakeholdermanagementskills.
• Strongorganisationalandriskmanagementcapabilities.
