Summary
We are seeking a talented CAD Designer to join our innovative team. This is a varied role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic small-business environment and enjoys both creative and organisational work. You’ll play an important part in turning client visions into reality, growing our brand, and supporting the smooth running of the business.
Responsibilities
1. Design:
- Create and edit digital sketches and 3D models using design software (e.g. SketchUp, Cabinet Sense, or similar).
- Translate designs into technical specifications for CNC machinery, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Produce detailed digital build plans for bespoke cabinetry and van conversion layouts.
- Interpret and implement design concepts into technical drawings.
- Maintain organised files and documentation of all CAD designs.
- Support the design process from concept through to production, ensuring designs are both functional and beautiful.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to van conversions.
- Assist in troubleshooting design-related issues during the build process.
- Contribute creative ideas that enhance the functionality and aesthetics of our conversions.
2. Marketing & Content Creation
- Manage and grow the company’s social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
- Develop and deliver creative marketing strategies to strengthen brand presence.
- Create marketing materials, presentations, and other branded documents.
- Assist with website content updates, newsletters, and outreach campaigns.
- Assist with the generation of content through photography and videography
3. Business & Administrative Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the directors, acting as a PA where required.
- Manage schedules, emails, and client communications.
- Prepare client proposals, quotes, and supporting documents.
- Order and track materials required for projects, liaising with suppliers.
- Assist with organisation for events, exhibitions, and shows.
- General business support to ensure smooth operations.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Creative with a strong eye for design and detail.
- Confident using digital design software (experience with SketchUp or similar is essential).
- Confident in preparing files for CNC production (experience is essential).
- Capable of creating engaging marketing content and managing social media (experience desirable).
- Highly organised, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable wearing different hats in a small but fast-growing business.

- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
