We’re delighted to be recruiting for a dedicated HR Advisor to join a successful and growing organisation based in Market Harborough. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, working onsite, providing broad HR support across the business while contributing to meaningful people initiatives.
As the HR Advisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting managers and employees, advising on a wide range of employee relation matters, and ensuring best practice across all areas of the employee life cycle. Salary up to £40k + car allowance
40 hours, Monday to Friday
Hybrid working 2 days in the office
Based on-site in Market Harborough
25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Duties and responsibilities:
- Providing timely and consistent HR and ER advice to managers on day‑to‑day people matters
- Managing the HR inbox and ensuring queries are resolved promptly
- Maintaining accurate employee records across systems and manual files
- Supporting employee relations cases including sickness absence, capability, disciplinary and grievance issues
- Producing HR data and reports to support stakeholders
- Delivering Day 1 inductions for new starters
- Supporting monthly HR reporting and contributing to HR projects
- Building strong relationships across the organisation, including occasional site visits
Skills and experience required:
- Previous HR experience with proven advisory responsibilities
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience
- Strong grounding in employee relations and UK employment law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience implementing HR initiatives or policy updates
- Strong administrative abilities and proficiency in MS Office
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using HR systems
- Multi‑site experience is desirable but not essential
