We’re looking for an outstanding leader with real commercial vision to join a leading marketing services company who are helping a wide range of international brands to communicate effectively with consumers through a wide range of eye-catching and engaging digital innovations.

Based at a state-of-the art high-tech hub, you’ll join a hard-working and ambitious executive team who welcome honest feedback and actively encourage innovation and professional development. They’ll want to hear all about your proven track record of accelerating growth and turnover, and will invite you to apply your expertise and acumen to ensure the commercial success of the organisation through well-planned strategical direction, strong leadership and a commitment to customer focus.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Directly reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with other members of the business leadership team
  • Taking responsibility for the management and implementation of budget planning
  • Setting and monitoring financial targets
  • Maintaining a cash focus on a daily basis
  • Liaising with central accounting teams
  • Understanding the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met commercially
  • Identifying opportunities for the update and development of systems and business methods
  • Continuously keeping informed of emerging trends and market conditions

Skills and experience required:

  • Extensive experience in a similar commercial management role within a creative business or agency
  • Excellent IT skills, with good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Relevant financial qualification or part-qualification would be beneficial (for example CIMA, ACCA or AAT)
  • Approaches tasks with curiosity, always looking for opportunities to innovate and to improve
  • Appreciates the value and importance of working collaboratively with teams across the business
  • Able to adapt to a fast-moving business environment, with a positive approach to change
  • Excellent problem-solver
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm and tenacity
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbally and when putting together written correspondence, reports and presentations
