Due to our continued growth, we're looking for a proactive and commercially minded Business Development Specialist to join our friendly team at our Market Harborough office on a Part-Time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident sales professional who enjoys building relationships, generating opportunities and making a real impact within a growing business.
What you'll be doing
- Driving the growth of Vanilla Recruitment by identifying and securing new business opportunities across the East Midlands.
- Generating new business opportunities from prospect and target clients.
- Building and developing relationships with SME and corporate organisations.
- Conducting business development calls to secure appointments and meetings.
- Identifying recruitment opportunities and following up vacancy leads.
- Working closely with our recruitment consultants to maximise business opportunities.
- Supporting LinkedIn outreach campaigns and social selling activity.
- Collaborating with our Marketing Manager on lead generation campaigns.
- Following up marketing activity and converting enquiries into meetings.
- Helping to expand Vanilla Recruitment's presence within existing and new markets.
- Maintaining accurate records of business development activity and pipeline opportunities.
What we're looking for
- Previous business development or sales experience gained in a B2B environment; recruitment sector experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
- A proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Experience of working towards and exceeding targets.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence in speaking with decision-makers at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive, resilient and self-motivated attitude.
