We're currently recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing business in Shepshed that is looking to add an Internal Sales Executive to its friendly and supportive sales team. The vacancy offers a varied role combining customer service, account management and sales administration, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships and helping customers find the right solutions.
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm
Location: Office-based role in Shepshed, near Loughborough

Duties and responsibilities:
- Handling inbound sales enquiries, identifying customer requirements and converting opportunities into sales
- Managing customer enquiries via telephone, email and the shared sales inbox
- Preparing, issuing and following up quotations to maximise sales opportunities
- Making outbound calls to existing and prospective customers to build relationships, develop accounts and promote products and offers
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth customer journey
- Maintaining accurate customer records and activity using the company CRM system
- Collaborating with colleagues across the business
Required skills and experience:
- Previous experience in an Internal Sales Executive, account management or customer-focused sales role
- Proven track record of making outbound sales calls and developing customer relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills with a positive and solution-focused approach
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Experience using a CRM system would be advantageous
- Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities, identify sales opportunities and work effectively as part of a team
