On behalf of a highly regarded creative agency, we’re delighted to be recruiting an Account Director to join their growing team in Leicester. This Account Director vacancy offers the opportunity to work with high-profile B2B clients on complex, strategy-led projects, within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment that genuinely supports career progression.
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
Hybrid working: minimum 3 days per week in Leicester city centre office

Duties and responsibilities:
- Partner with the MD to lead on a flagship client account, providing senior-level input and direction
- Work closely with the Insight & Strategy Director to ensure all activity is underpinned by clear, strategic thinking
- Act as the senior client lead across two additional major accounts, building long-term relationships
- Manage and support a Senior Project Manager and Marketing Executive
- Develop account strategies, identify growth opportunities, and oversee delivery excellence
- Take ownership of financial performance including profitability, utilisation, and fee negotiation
- Contribute to new business activity including proposals, pitches, and brief evaluation
Required skills and experience:
- Proven experience operating as an Account Director within an agency environment
- Strong B2B experience, with an understanding of complex products and long sales cycles
- Proven ability to lead client strategy while maintaining attention to detail in delivery
- Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and account performance
- Strong organisational and leadership capabilities, with experience managing team members
- Experience working across integrated projects, including digital campaigns, websites, and branding
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders
