This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-profile programmes and business-critical initiatives that enhance how we serve our investors, strengthen our operations, and support our long-term growth strategy.Working alongside senior executives and cross-functional teams, you'll have the opportunity to deliver meaningful change across a broad range of strategic priorities while building strong relationships across one of the world's most respected asset managers.What you’ll be doingAs a Senior Project Manager, you'll lead complex, cross-functional projects and transformation programmes from concept through to delivery, ensuring successful outcomes for the business and our investors.Key responsibilities include:Leading large-scale projects and multi-year programmes that support Vanguard Europe's strategic objectivesOwning end-to-end project delivery, from initiation and planning through execution, implementation and benefits realisationDriving programme governance, planning, reporting, stakeholder engagement and change management activitiesBuilding trusted partnerships with senior leaders, subject matter experts and external vendors to align priorities and accelerate decision-makingIdentifying, managing and mitigating risks, dependencies and obstacles while providing clear recommendations to senior stakeholdersInfluencing and navigating across multiple business functions to ensure successful delivery in a complex environmentSupporting broader Strategic Services priorities and contributing to the continuous improvement of project delivery practicesWhat it takesWe're seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious change professional with a strong track record of delivering complex initiatives within financial services.You'll bring:Significant project management experience within asset management, investments or investment platform environmentsA proven track record of successfully delivering a diverse portfolio of strategic, operational and regulatory change initiativesExperience managing complex stakeholder landscapes and influencing senior executivesDemonstrated ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously while balancing changing prioritiesStrong project governance, planning and delivery expertise, with exceptional attention to detailOutstanding communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence at all levelsExperience working with Agile delivery methodologies and hybrid delivery frameworksPrevious people leadership or line management experience would be advantageousA Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experienceSpecial FactorsVanguard is not offering visa sponsorship for this positionThis is a hybrid position and would require you to work in the office 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)Please note that we review applications on a rolling basis and may close this role early if there is a high level of interest.
