What you'll do:
- Develop Java Spring Boot microservices, write unit and integration tests (Cucumber/Playwright), and deploy AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation; Angular/HTML knowledge is a bonus.
- Apply and appreciate Agile methodologies, including Kanban and Lean, in software development and team collaboration, with occasional pair programming.
- Provide system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases, integrating third-party products as needed.
- Translate technical specifications into Java code, develop and test software artifacts, and elevate deliverables into development, test, and production environments, following change control procedures.
- Interface with cross-functional teams, communicate system issues effectively, and ensure compliance with IT and information security policies.
- Participate in special projects and other duties, supporting ongoing team and organizational objectives.
What you bring:
- Strong experience in Java development with hands-on knowledge of Spring Boot for building and maintaining backend applications.
- Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, ensuring performance, scalability, and secure development practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including iterative development, collaboration, and continuous delivery.
