What you'll do:

  • Develop Java Spring Boot microservices, write unit and integration tests (Cucumber/Playwright), and deploy AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation; Angular/HTML knowledge is a bonus.
  • Apply and appreciate Agile methodologies, including Kanban and Lean, in software development and team collaboration, with occasional pair programming.
  • Provide system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases, integrating third-party products as needed.
  • Translate technical specifications into Java code, develop and test software artifacts, and elevate deliverables into development, test, and production environments, following change control procedures.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams, communicate system issues effectively, and ensure compliance with IT and information security policies.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties, supporting ongoing team and organizational objectives.

What you bring:

  • Strong experience in Java development with hands-on knowledge of Spring Boot for building and maintaining backend applications.
  • Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, ensuring performance, scalability, and secure development practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including iterative development, collaboration, and continuous delivery.
  • Ability to work with data integration, maintain thorough documentation, and support system analysis, design, and implementation.
  • Minimum of 1 year Java development experience with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of training and experience.
