Vanguard are looking for a commercially minded, execution-focused Strategy Specialist to support the delivery of key business initiatives across the Business Unit. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning strategic priorities into actionable plans, coordinating across multiple teams, and ensuring initiatives are delivered effectively. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to drive operational improvements, align priorities, and support execution of strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Execution & Implementation
- Support the rollout of business unit strategic initiatives and transformation projects
- Translate leadership priorities into structured action plans and timelines
- Track progress and ensure alignment across teams
- Identify and escalate delivery risks or gaps
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with stakeholders across Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Commercial teams
- Facilitate workshops to ensure clarity of responsibilities and alignment
- Support governance forums with updates and action tracking
- Operational Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Support implementation of new frameworks or operating models
- Embed initiatives effectively into day-to-day operations
- Business Support & Reporting
- Prepare concise updates and presentations for senior leadership
- Support preparation of materials for business reviews and governance meetings
- Monitor key business indicators and ensure reporting reflects performance
Essential Experience
- Supporting strategic initiatives, transformation, or business improvement projects
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills
- Ability to structure plans, manage timelines, and ensure delivery
- Experience in financial services or other regulated environments
