What you'll do:

  • Conduct governance analysis of regulatory and business change, assessing impacts, risks and controls across UKPI products and propositions.
  • Support the ongoing development and effectiveness of the product governance framework as the business and regulatory landscape evolves.
  • Lead governance input into regulatory consultations, change initiatives and cross-functional delivery programmes to ensure compliant implementation.
  • Represent product governance in internal governance forums and external industry working groups, providing clear insight and recommendations.
  • Provide oversight of third-party suppliers impacting product design, delivery and administration, ensuring alignment with governance standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to embed governance requirements and drive safe, consistent product and proposition outcomes.

What you bring:

  • 5-10 years' experience in financial services, ideally within product governance, risk or platform roles.
  • Strong knowledge of retail investment products, including SIPP and ISA, within a direct consumer or distribution-led environment.
  • Solid understanding of UK regulations and regulatory expectations affecting investment products and platforms.
  • Practical experience of consumer duty and its application within product governance frameworks.
  • Background as a governance analyst or similar role, with experience embedding governance into product design and delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across technical and business teams.
