Manages collateral and margin activities on behalf of Vanguard funds; completes complex, priority‑oriented tasks and analyses inputs to support accurate calculations across a broad range of portfolios including institutional funds, investment trusts, mutual funds, ETFs and other pooled vehicles.
Fund & Investment Operations Analyst, Senior Associate
Key Responsibilities
- Serves as subject‑matter and technical expert, identifying and resolving complex fund and investment operational issues; manages collateral and margin activities on behalf of Vanguard funds.
- Maintains internal systems and external counterparty relationships to ensure best outcomes and manage regulatory, market and counterparty risk.
- Leads process improvement efforts, conducts comprehensive analysis, and recommends solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Documents procedures for all fund and investment product types, leveraging operational knowledge to aid in the production of gold copy data and improve output.
- Communicates with internal and external partners to resolve process and reconciliation issues; oversees research and implementation of complex process improvements.
- Executes daily operations, manages controls and verifies completion of processes.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvements and proactively proposes solutions.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years related work experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalency; accounting or finance degree preferred.
- Exposure to semantic modelling, metadata management, data governance, or knowledge graph technologies.
- Experience working within Agile product delivery environments.
Work Schedule
Hybrid – currently required to be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
