Prospectus Drafting: Work with a team to rewrite and harmonise UK and Irish domiciled fund prospectuses/supplements, ensuring consistency of style, structure and positioning across the range. Carry out peer benchmarking to ensure disclosures aligned to peers where appropriate. Translate technical and regulatory requirements into concise, accurate and audience appropriate disclosures (investment objectives/policies, risk factors etc.).

Regulatory & Policy Alignment: Ensure alignment with/traceability against applicable regimes, including (as relevant to each fund): In the UK: UK UCITS, FCA COLL/FUND, SDR, UK MMFs. In Ireland: UCITS, SFDR, MMFs. Identify regulatory gaps, propose remediation language and provide the rationale (with references to rules/guidance) for sign off. Monitor relevant developments during the contract period and recommend updates.

Stakeholder Management & Governance: Work closely with the Product Legal team on drafting updated sections. Engage with numerous teams across the business (including Compliance, Product, Risk, IMG) to ensure accuracy of disclosures and reach agreement on final position. Work with Product Legal to ensure Depositary/External Counsel review is carried out. Manage approvals via formal governance (Disclosures Forum, Boards), preparing clear briefing papers.

Project Management: Project manage the updates and work with key stakeholders to develop and maintain a delivery plan and document tracker, manage critical paths, dependencies and publication dates. Own version control, redlines, issues logs and decision logs to ensure auditability. Work with Disclosure Specialist to understand downstream impact of Prospectus changes.

Quality Control: Perform rigorous quality checks to ensure consistency within a Prospectus and across the range of documents where appropriate and ensure appropriate drafting style (such as plain English clarity where appropriate).

Required Experience & Qualifications: Some experience in asset management legal/compliance or top tier law firm environment working on UCITS documentation for UK and Irish domiciled funds. Paralegals in addition to qualified lawyers will be considered. Strong understanding of UCITS products (passive and active) essential; understanding of NURS desirable. Demonstrable experience drafting prospectuses and engaging with regulators for Prospectus approvals. Strong working knowledge of: UK: FCA Handbook (esp. COLL and FUND). Ireland: relevant Statutory Instruments, Central Bank UCITS Regulations and CBI Guidance. Proven ability to provide regulatory rationale for disclosures and to cite rules/guidance succinctly. Excellent drafting skills and meticulous attention to detail. Experience engaging with Depositaries/Trustees and coordinating with external counsel. Strong team player – ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams will be key. Prior involvement in large scale re-papering or regulatory change programmes desirable.
