We are seeking a Finance & Investment Operations professional to join our ETF Operations team. This role is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of daily, weekly, and monthly operational activities supporting Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and operational excellence standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of fund operations, identifying process improvements, managing operational risk, and supporting the development of colleagues within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversees the completion of daily, weekly and monthly deliverables for ETF-specific tasks, including validation of basket components, valuation of baskets, and preparation of team reporting deliverables.
  • Administers the daily monitoring for compliance with prospectus limitations and various regulations of each domiciled product.
  • Completes comprehensive impact analysis of issues and recommends solutions.
  • Independently resolves issues and elevates material issues.
  • Identifies opportunities and recommends process improvements to gain efficiencies and ensure quality.
  • Promotes a comprehensive conceptual understanding of funds, the business unit processes, and the impact to internal and external clients.
  • Monitors various controls and procedures to ensure adherence to all policies and procedures.
  • Advocates awareness of risk management practices.
  • Exhibits working knowledge of operations processes and accurately executes policies and procedures utilizing controls, and identifies opportunities for improvement to further mitigate risk.
  • Monitors risk via dashboards, and identifies and communicates situations that expose risk.
  • Mentors and coaches other team members, serves as a cross trained resource to the department, and provides assistance and training support as needed.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience within Investment Operations, Fund Operations, Asset Management, Financial Services Operations, or a related environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to operational accuracy.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working within a controlled and regulated environment.
  • Proven related work experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
