The HLTA role complements the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an established system of supervision. On this occasion, we are particularly looking for an experienced and committed individual with a passion for supporting children and young people with autism. An understanding of behaviour, communication and sensory needs is essential, along with knowledge of approaches and working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team (teachers, therapists, support staff).
