We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Procurement & Supply Apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in procurement and supply chain while working towards either a Level 3 or Level 4 apprenticeship qualification, depending on your experience and prior learning. You’ll work closely with our Senior Buyer and wider procurement team, gaining exposure to real business operations and developing valuable commercial skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the creation and processing of purchase orders
- Assist with sourcing goods and obtaining supplier quotes
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Communicate with suppliers regarding orders and deliveries
- Track orders and follow up to ensure timely supply
- Support inventory and stock management processes
- Assist with contract administration and supplier performance
- Help resolve invoice queries with suppliers and internal teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement within procurement processes
This role offers a broad introduction to procurement and supply chain, with opportunities to gain experience across different areas of the business.
About You
- GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths at level 4 (grade C) minimum
- Interest in procurement, supply chain, or business operations
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Basic IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Office)
- You will be enrolled on either a Level 3 or Level 4 apprenticeship, depending on your experience
The programme is expected to last approximately 18 months, including End-Point Assessment. You will receive structured training alongside on‑the‑job learning.
Contract & Progression
This role is offered on a fixed‑term contract for the duration of the apprenticeship. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship and achievement of the qualification standard, there may be an opportunity to progress into a permanent role, subject to business needs and performance. Continued employment is dependent on successful completion of the apprenticeship. This role is designed as an early career development opportunity rather than a guaranteed permanent position. Salary will be competitive and aligned to National Minimum Wage, with consideration given to age, experience, and apprenticeship level.
