We are seeking an exceptional leader to build and champion AI Transformation for Europe; someone who can turn ambition into reality, and make AI a natural, everyday part of how work gets done. This role exists to deliver a step change over the next 12-18 months, embedding AI into real workflows with visible impact, and then scale that momentum over the following years as AI capabilities evolve.
Reporting to the Head of Business Transformation for Europe, this role is the center of gravity for how Europe does AI. You will act as the strategic integrator and execution engine; accelerating adoption, aligning effort, enabling leaders, and ensuring AI delivers meaningful, measurable value across Europe. Success in this role is not about activity, it is about impact, pace, and belief.
Key Responsibilities- AI Strategy, Enablement & Use Case Activation
- Define and lead Europe's AI Transformation agenda, focused relentlessly on outsized, real‑world outcomes across productivity, quality, client experience, and speed of execution.
- Drive a clear pipeline of high‑value AI use cases, prioritised for impact, reused at scale, and embedded directly into day‑to‑day workflows.
- Partner with business lines and functions to turn AI from curiosity into capability; ensuring adoption moves beyond early adopters to become standard practice in how things get done.
- Maintain a Europe‑wide view of value creation, adoption momentum, and maturity; shifting leadership conversations from tools and usage to outcomes delivered.
- AI Operating System & European Management System (EMS) Integration
- Build and run a pragmatic AI operating system for Europe that enables focus, pace and clarity.
- Embed AI into the EMS so it becomes part of how change is planned, executed, measured and sustained.
- Establish a clear, trusted view of AI progress and value across Europe, giving leaders confidence that momentum is real, disciplined and improving quarter‑on‑quarter.
- Integrate AI deeply into Europe's transformation roadmap, accelerating delivery concurrently.
- Cross‑Functional Integration & Global Alignment
- Act as Europe's primary AI integrator, enabling scale while removing friction and ambiguity.
- Ensure Europe's AI approach remains aligned with Enterprise direction, while being tailored for regional realities and opportunities.
- Bring a strong external lens, benchmarking competitors, adjacent industries and emerging practices to maintain urgency and avoid complacency.
- Leader and Workforce Enablement
- Equip leaders to confidently sponsor, use and champion AI as a core execution capability.
- Build belief and momentum by making AI practical and useful.
- Create consistent Europe‑wide approaches to adoption, favoring reuse over reinvention and remove barriers to progress.
- Lead the narrative and change effort required to normalise AI, address fear, and reinforce that AI is about growth, speed and better outcomes.
- This role is suited to a leader who has consistently delivered outsized impact in complex environments, particularly where technology, transformation and people intersect.
- Demonstrable experience leading large‑scale AI or technology‑enabled transformation. Moving from ambition to embedded operational reality and delivering rapid, measurable step‑change outcomes.
- Strong judgement and credibility across business, technology and control functions; able to simplify complexity, unblock progress, and translate strategy into clear priorities and measurable results.
- Highly outcome‑oriented executive communicator; pragmatic, resilient, and biased toward action. Someone who can energise leaders, align teams, sustain momentum, and build new capabilities.
