An exciting opportunity to be part of a strong team in a growing and thriving Academy with a clear vision and ambition for our students. This post would suit either an experienced or early career teacher. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher with the ability to inspire others to take up an exciting new post in our growing DT/Food team.

Students have five lessons of art/design technology/food technology per fortnight in Year 9. At KS4 we offer GCSE Design Technology, Hospitality and Catering and at KS5 3D Design. The faculty also offers GCSE and A-Level Fashion and Textiles. The design technology area has a series of well-equipped workshops, well-appointed kitchens, textiles room, IT suite and heat bay. The DT Team are supported by specialist technicians.
You will be joining a school with an excellent reputation for high quality staff/student relationships and staff retention. The school is oversubscribed with 1520 students on roll with a large Sixth Form of 420. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. An enhanced DBS check is required for all successful applicants.
