Your Role
Based at our Sainsbury’s Distribution Centre, the Service Technician will perform maintenance duties to ensure equipment productivity, availability, health & safety compliance, and quality. Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the condition of various installations
- Performing malfunction repairs and maintenance, including preventive and periodic tasks in collaboration with colleagues
- Resolving mechanical, electrical, and control technical faults
Candidate Requirements
As a Service Technician, your role is vital to customer satisfaction, with a focus on ensuring the continuity of customer processes. We value an enthusiastic, proactive, and flexible attitude. Requirements include:
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or higher in mechanical/electrical maintenance
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights
- Experience with maintenance planning
Note: Due to the nature of the role, a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in FMCG manufacturing or automated environments
- Experience in training or coaching
