Role ResponsibilitiesWorking within the Health and Safety department, the QHSE Advisor will be responsible for providing Health and Safety support to the Service Team at Heathrow Airport. The position is core business hours Monday to Friday. Support implementation of the Vanderlande QHSE Policies to drive improvements and gain / maintain certification.Maintain a strong focus on risk reduction & risk management and driving behavioural safetyAssist teams in compiling and communicating user friendly documentation to manage QHSE risks including H&S meetings, H&S training, noticeboard materials etc.Assist managers in ensuring competence of their teams and ensuring adequate records are maintained along with key risks and non-conformances.Carry out risk assessments in designated locations (Fire, Workplace/Welfare and PUWER)Support site teams with the investigation of issues, accidents, incidents and non-conformances, including production of accident & incident reports and root cause analysis.Assist QHSE Manager and support other advisors across service/projects in meeting objectives.Role Qualification and SkillsDetailed knowledge of health, safety & environmental legislation underpinned by a NEBOSH qualification (L3 Certificate as a minimum requirement), and other relevant HSEQ training.
