Job Description
Joining the London Heathrow Airport team, the Service Technician will perform maintenance duties to ensure productivity, equipment availability, health & safety compliance and quality.
Key activities include maintaining equipment, troubleshooting faults and carrying out preventive and periodic maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Ensure top condition of the various installations.
- Perform malfunction and maintenance work as well as preventive and periodic maintenance in collaboration with colleagues.
- Resolve mechanical, electrical and control‑technical faults.
Physical Requirements
- Walking and mobility – extensive walking, navigating various levels of the baggage systems and working at heights.
- Heavy lifting – lift and move heavy objects (up to 75 kg) using proper techniques and safety protocols.
- Restrictive spaces – work comfortably in tight areas and follow safety guidelines.
- Noise levels – work may involve high noise; personal protective equipment will be provided.
Any pre‑existing medical history that may affect the ability to perform these duties must be considered during application.
