Your role
Working within IAG Cargo, the Team Leader will be responsible for providing daily leadership and continuous guidance to your team, ensuring Health and Safety is paramount during all operational and maintenance activities along with interaction with internal and external customers. You will be performing the following tasks:

  • Ensuring that Safety is always paramount during all Operational and Maintenance activities.
  • Conducting quality auditing of work, and productivity checks and taking appropriate action if/when required.
  • Constantly displays the desire to learn and help others in their progression.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Day Shift.
    • Issue PPM work orders out to shifts, close off all PCM and CM’s.
    • Attend system outages, to assist technicians in resolving the faults before escalating to Tech Support.
    • Keep daily report up-to date with system issues and handovers, including raising work orders for the night shift.
    • Stepping in to cover Duty Managers in their absence.
    • Attending H&S meetings.
  • Night shift
    • Plan the shift PPM maintenance / project work including handovers from the day shift.
    • PPM work orders to be completed and filled out to the required standard.
    • Complete and send out nightly report e-mail of works completed, including handovers, project work, system issues etc.

What we expect from you
As a Service Team Leader you make an important contribution to customer satisfaction, whereby the continuity of the customer process is central. You therefore have an enthusiastic and proactive attitude and are flexible. We expect the following of you:

  • Working in Airports and/or Conveyor Systems in a Supervisory capacity preferred.
  • Multi skilled Electro/Mech, minimum at senior tech level, preferred supervisory experience.
  • Qualifications, Minimum NVQ 3 Electro/Mech, preferred HNC or equivalent.

What we see as a nice to have:

  • 18th Edition (BS 7671 / wiring regs).
  • You have gained experience within an FMCG manufacturing or automated environment.
  • Experience in training/coaching.
