Our platform provides institutional investors a real-time understanding of who owns what, where flows are going, and how positioning is shaping markets. We sit at the intersection of data, macro strategy, and trading intelligence, helping clients anticipate risk, avoid crowded trades, and capitalise on market opportunities.

As we scale our presence, we are hiring a Vice President – Institutional Sales to cover some of our institutional clients and contribute to our revenue growth across Europe & America.

The Role

This is a senior, front-office revenue role with direct responsibility for growing Vanda’s institutional client base. You will own key client relationships, drive new business, and help shape our commercial strategy in the region. This is not a support role - you are expected to originate, close, and expand high-value relationships with sophisticated institutional investors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow revenue across Europe and the Americas, with a focus on hedge funds, asset managers, banks, and large asset allocators.
  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy, aligned with firm-wide growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain senior relationships with CIOs, PMs, and senior macro / cross-asset investors.
  • Drive new business origination, leveraging your network and targeted outbound efforts.
  • Lead complex sales cycles, from initial engagement through negotiation and closing.
  • Position Vanda’s data platforms and insights as mission-critical to client workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with product and strategy teams to align client needs with ongoing development.
  • Provide market feedback to shape pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategy.

Who We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in institutional sales (data platforms, analytics, or macro-related products strongly preferred).
  • Proven track record of revenue generation, including closing high-value, multi-year contracts.
  • Deep relationships across European and US institutional investors, particularly hedge funds and macro-oriented clients.
  • Strong understanding of macro markets, positioning, flows, and cross-asset investing is preferred.
  • Ability to sell complex, differentiated data products to sophisticated clients.
  • Comfortable operating in a high-performance, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at the senior decision-maker level.
