Trainee / Labourer – to form a team in the Wolverhampton area

To work onsite across the UK, prepping for the Spraying operative

Vanda Coatings is a family-run company with over 20 years\’ experience in the commercial onsite spraying industry. We operate nationwide within retail, construction and refurbishment, specialising in the spray painting of aluminium, cladding, shopfronts, ceilings, lifts, and more.

We\’re expanding our teams across the UK and are looking for Trainee/Labourers/preppers to join us.

About the Role

You\’ll work alongside an experienced Team Leader on sites across the country, learning the fundamentals of surface preparation, masking, priming, and spraying. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable skills and build a career in a fast-moving, growing industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Team Leader with preparation work efficiently and effectively
• Learn a variety of spraying techniques and applications on different surfaces
• Gain hands-on experience using HVLP, Electrostatic, and Airless spraying methods
• Occasionally stay away from home for projects (expenses and accommodation provided)

Requirements

• Full, clean UK Driving Licence (essential)
• Positive, reliable, and motivated attitude
• Willingness to learn and take pride in your work
• Flexibility to work away from home (Monday–Friday as required)
• CSCS card is an advantage, but not essential
