Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the group tutorship of one or more courses within the Travel, Aviation, Directed Pathways, or Esports curriculum area.
• Co‑develop and implement quality improvements as directed by the Curriculum Manager and/or Head of School.
• Design engaging coursework assignments that inspire learners based on agreed schemes of work.
• Follow assessment schedules, student monitoring procedures, and support internal and external verification activities.
• Support, motivate, and empathise with learners, monitor progress, and use new technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
• Maintain high personal standards and expectations with good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree or relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject.
• Hold a teaching qualification (or willing to work towards).
• Recent and relevant continuous professional development and excellent teaching skills.
• Substantial relevant teaching experience on BTEC and/or NCFE programmes.
• Awareness of academic quality standards and links with industry, external agencies and validating bodies.
• High energy, enthusiasm, and passion for the subject and education.
