Lecturer Beauty Therapy β Kingston College (Commercial Industries and Access School). Permanent, Part Time (0.3). Note: This post may include some evening work. Closing date for the return of completed applications is 2nd December 2025.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses across a range of units from levels 1, 2, 3 and 4 and act as a personal tutor.
- Predominantly coursework based; design engaging coursework assignments that inspire learners.
- Follow agreed schemes of work and assessment schedules; monitor student progress and maintain procedures.
- Involve in internal verification activities and organise and participate in external verification where required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Level 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy with recent industrial experience including skin needling, peeling, reflexology and make-up.
- Excellent teaching and demonstration skills.
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards) and awareness of academic quality standards.
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines; creative problem solving; ability to support, motivate and empathise with young learners.

This post may include some evening work. The benefits package includes generous annual leave (40 days) plus up to 8 additional days over Christmas/New Year, plus 5 days Wellbeing leave, pension scheme, subsidised sports facilities, professional development and a salary sacrifice cycle to work scheme. The benefits package is pro-rated for part-time staff.
