Vanbrugh Group is recruiting on behalf of a well-established, fast-growing construction contractor working across public sector refurbishment projects. Clients include MOD, Metropolitan Police as well as high profile heritage organisations. We’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor who wants more than just another job. Whether you’re newly qualified or already building experience, this is a chance to develop your skills, build your career, and be trusted with responsibility on projects up to £1.5M.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with project and site teams on refurb and fit-out projects
  • Handling cost planning, procurement, valuations, and final accounts
  • Managing budgets and making sure everything runs profitably and smoothly
  • Building client relationships and being a confident, professional point of contact
  • Splitting your time between on-site, working from home, and the office – flexible and balanced
  • Learning and growing through real project experience, not just sitting behind a desk

Requirements:

  • BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar (or working towards it)
  • Experience in construction or refurbishment projects – or a strong understanding and desire to learn fast
  • Great with numbers, contracts, and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator – you’ll be dealing with teams, clients, and suppliers
  • Hungry to grow your career and be part of a team that’s building something
