Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day running of the Retail Departments, including Food Hall, Children’s Boutique, Cookshop and Pet Shop.
  • Lead the Food Safety Management in the Food Hall.
  • Communicate with your team daily and cascade communication to Shift Leaders and teams.
  • Focus teams on “we do everything for the customer” and maintain a service-based mentality.
  • Deliver, maximise, and exceed sales targets in store.
  • Train and support team members, helping them grow their skills and progress within the business.
  • Maintain department compliance, including food safety management procedures.
  • Participate as part of the Duty Management team managing the store.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in retail or hospitality management, leading large teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous retail or hospitality management essential; food retailing desirable.
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a large team.
  • Ability to work autonomously with no set planograms; think on your feet and demonstrate commercial awareness.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with team members and customers alike.
