Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day running of the Retail Departments, including Food Hall, Children’s Boutique, Cookshop and Pet Shop.
- Lead the Food Safety Management in the Food Hall.
- Communicate with your team daily and cascade communication to Shift Leaders and teams.
- Focus teams on “we do everything for the customer” and maintain a service-based mentality.
- Deliver, maximise, and exceed sales targets in store.
- Train and support team members, helping them grow their skills and progress within the business.
- Maintain department compliance, including food safety management procedures.
- Participate as part of the Duty Management team managing the store.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail or hospitality management, leading large teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous retail or hospitality management essential; food retailing desirable.
- Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a large team.
- Ability to work autonomously with no set planograms; think on your feet and demonstrate commercial awareness.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with team members and customers alike.
