We are recruiting for a Pastry and Bakery CDP to join our Chef Brigade at Bents! Have a passion for pastry? Then look no further!

  • Offering up to £14.00 an hour for our CDP chef.
  • Easter Sunday, Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year off?
  • Permanent full time contract, offering annualised hours as an average of 40 hours per week.

What’s the Pastry CDP role? As our Pastry CDP Chef within our Chef Brigade you'll have a vital role in the production of our freshly made home bakes to serve across our 1000-seater Dining areas. Working with fresh ingredients every day making fantastic products ranging from our best selling Scones to our delicious hot fudge chocolate gateaux!

We're seeking a disciplined team player who:

  • Has previous experience as a Pastry Chef, Bakery Chef or similar role
  • Enjoys working with fresh ingredients and high-quality products
  • Can work efficiently in a busy, high-volume kitchen environment
  • Demonstrates excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Performs well under pressure and maintains high standards
  • Has a genuine passion for pastry, baking and fresh food

Other benefits of the Pastry Chef De Partie role:

The role offers full time hours of 40 average weekly hours annualised over a 12 month period, stepping up your hours at peak (October to December) and working less in non-peak (January - March) you'll have one set day off each week and work alternate weekends*. *Please note, during the induction and training period of 6 months, the successful candidate will need to work every weekend having 2 weekday shifts off.
