We are recruiting for a

Housekeeping Assistant to join our Dining Team at Bents!

What is the role?

As a Housekeeping Assistant within our Dining Team you’ll be integral in the success of our Dining function.

Working alongside the Front of house and Kitchen teams you’ll deliver and maintain high standards across all of our 1000-seater Dining areas.

Whether preparing your area, clearing a customers table, helping a customer with their tray or making someone’s day with a big smile, you will be at the heart of a busy catering team.

  • Your daily role will include;
  • Ensuring the Front of house and Kitchen teams are fully equipped with the right tools to do their job.
  • Consistently maintaining high quality standards on the look and feel of the Front of house within the Restaurant.
  • Being efficient in clearing and cleaning tables in a timely manner.
  • Striving at all times to satisfy and exceed customer expectations
  • Support in the day to day running of the departments and daily service activity.
  • Being part of the team in our Pot Wash area conducting kitchen porter duties.
  • Contributing to our commitment to providing a safe working environment by following the Food Hygiene and Health and Safety requirements.

What are we looking for?

This role would be ideal for a hardworking, customer focused team player who possesses a friendly personality.

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Experience of working in a high-volume Catering environment or similar is desirable.
  • Shows the ability to work at pace and under pressure.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a large team and be proactive.
  • Has a customer service focused mentality and shows good communication skills.

Other role details

  • This is a part-time /full-time role, working hours will include weekdays, evenings and alternate weekend work. A flexible approach is required.
  • The role is on a permanent basis.
  • The role meets National Minimum and Living Wages.
