We have an opportunity for a Driver to join our team at Yeovil Accident Repair Centre. As a Driver, you will be responsible for the collection and delivery of customer vehicles, ensuring an outstanding customer experience at every stage of the repair journey. You will work closely with the Bodyshop Manager, Workshop Controller, and Customer Service Advisors to ensure efficient vehicle movements and support the day-to-day operations of the site.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Liaise with the Bodyshop Manager, Workshop Controller, and Customer Service Advisors to organise collection and delivery routes, ensuring maximum efficiency and prioritising urgent repairs.
- Safely collect and deliver customer vehicles.
- Obtain signatures for all vehicle collections and deliveries.
- Chauffeur customers when required.
- Keep courtesy cars clean, fuelled, and ready for use.
- Support site logistics and vehicle movements.
- Report any vehicle defects, damage, or safety concerns immediately.
- Drive safely and comply with all road traffic regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure customer needs are met.
- Assist with other reasonable duties as required to support the team.
What you will need to be a Driver at Yeovil Accident Repair Centre:
- Full UK Driving Licence with a clean or low-points record.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Professional, courteous, and approachable manner.
- Good organisational skills and ability to plan routes effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work.
- Experience in a similar driving or customer-facing role is desirable but not essential.
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 7.30-17.00.
