Accounts Assistant in Poole

We have an opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our team at Van Mossel Automotive Group. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be joining a collaborative team that takes pride in delivering accurate, timely work while supporting each other and maintaining a positive environment. The department covers key areas including bank reconciliations, purchase ledger, credit control and processing payments to both customers and suppliers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Bank reconciliations
• Accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Assisting with month end and year end closing
• Providing ad hoc reports as and when requested
• Various reconciliations including warranty, intercompany accounts, company credit cards and finance products, used and demonstrator stock and other vehicles

What you will need to be an Accounts Assistant at Van Mossel:

• Ideally, a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Accounts/Credit Controller Assistant or similar position.
• Possess excellent accuracy
• Attention to detail
• Be extremely well organised
• Be able to prioritise your workload effectively

Hours of work will be 40 hours per week, Mon - Fri 08.30 - 17.00.
