We’re looking for a motivated, eager to learn Accounts Apprentice to join our Head Office in Poole. You’ll gain hands-on experience working within a fast-paced environment, becoming an integral part of our accounts team!
As an Accounts Apprentice, you will support the smooth running of our finance function by assisting with daily banking, reconciliations and general cashbook duties. You’ll help identify and process payments in and out, process supplier invoices with accuracy, ensure transactions are properly authorised, support credit control activity and prepare reports on unpaid cash sales.
While gaining hands-on experience within a busy accounts team, we will support your education by enrolling you on an AAT qualification, providing dedicated study time, learning materials, and full coverage of exam costs to help you succeed.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Daily banking and reconciliations
- General cashbook – identification and processing of all payments in and out
- Process supplier invoices and ensure accuracy and authorisation of all transactions
- Credit control
- Prepare and report unpaid cash sales

Hours of work will be: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday - 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.
