Sales Support Assistant in Havant

We have an opportunity for a Sales Support Assistant to join our team at Volkswagen Van Centre in Portsmouth. As a Sales Support Assistant, you will be responsible for managing our sales forecourt, greeting our customers upon arrival, and supporting the overall Sales Operation with logistics and vehicle photography. Whether you’re a Volkswagen campervan fan or have been looking for a new challenge, you can get stuck into this role, which offers variety and a sense of ownership.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Promptly and courteously meet and greet our customers from outside
• Site logistics and vehicle organisation and movement of stock to support from within the Sales Team
• Collection and delivery of customer vehicles
• Ensure the showroom new/used vehicle display is correctly merchandised, all vehicles are correctly priced with all POS in accordance with brand standards
• Support the Customer Experience Executive with progress chasing
• Fuelling vehicles
• Photographing our new stock for the Marketing Team
• Ensuring pre-delivery inspection and any repairs or servicing are carried out and the customer is notified of any delays.

What you will need:

• Experience within a similar role in the automotive sector would be highly desirable
• Focused individual who is self-motivated who can organise themselves and recognise what needs to be done to achieve the end goals
• Computer skills/photography skills would be an advantage
• Keen eye for detail
• Ability to use own initiative with the ability to multi-task
• Team player
• Personable approach, with a polite and courteous manner
• Full UK driving licence

Hours of work will be 42.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday - 8.30 am to 18.00 pm. A uniform will be provided.
