About the role of Head of Business

Lead the strategic and operational performance of Yeovil Audi, delivering sustainable profitability, exceptional customer experience and high-performing teams. Ensure that each customer is treated as an individual with care and respect, providing a 5-star customer experience. Hold meetings with the manufacturer and Brand Director to agree vehicle volume and part sales targets. Monitor customer loyalty and satisfaction levels and ensure changes are made to improve where required. Hold regular Quality Management meetings with the team. Personally deal with customer correspondence and be involved in resolving issues where appropriate. Define measures, set targets, allocate responsibility and monitor progress to completion, with a strong focus on centre growth. Provide clear leadership, ensuring the vision of the business is communicated effectively across the team, while implementing structured training and development programmes. Ensure, through the marketing team, an effective Marketing plan is in place for all departments.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience managing a franchised automotive dealership.
  • Experience leading Sales, Aftersales, Parts, Finance, and operational teams promoting employee development plans.
  • Demonstrated responsibility for full profit-and-loss performance, managing budgets, operational costs, and KPIs.
  • Experience handling escalated customer complaints and correspondence.
  • Experience of driving a 5-star customer experience.
  • Knowledge of FCA regulations.
