We have an opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our team at Van Mossel Automotive Group. As an Accounts Assistant you will be joining a collaborative team that takes pride in delivering accurate, timely work while supporting each other and maintaining a positive environment. The department covers key areas including bank reconciliations, purchase ledger, credit control and processing payments to both customers and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Bank reconciliations
- Accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Assisting with month end and year end closing
- Providing ad hoc reports as and when requested
- Various reconciliations including warranty, intercompany accounts, company credit cards and finance products, used and demonstrator stock and other vehicles
Requirements:
- Ideally, a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Accounts/Credit Controller Assistant or similar position.
- Possess excellent accuracy
- Attention to detail
- Be extremely well organised
- Be able to prioritise your workload effectively
Hours of work will be 40 hours per week, Mon - Fri 08.30 - 17.00.
