Leadership & People Management

Coach, train, and develop employees, identifying skills gaps and supporting onboarding.

Manage performance in line with HR procedures, including appraisals, targets, and disciplinary processes.

Foster a positive workplace culture, driving employee engagement and continuous improvement.

  • Operations & Senior Leadership Tasks

Plan and organise warehouse functions, including manning and saving activities.

Supervise material movement and coordinate with third‑party providers and internal teams.

Ensure timely and accurate communication on delivery dates, quality, and customer commitments.

Ensure stock accuracy, working alongside the stock controller ensuring the PI count is completed in an accurate and timely manner.

Utilise off cuts.

Understand ERP/MRP systems, SAP or similar W/H Management Systems.

Support continuous improvement initiatives, including material flow, FLT/crane strategy, and transport coordination.

Monitor and communicate KPIs while implementing improvement actions.

Experience

  • IOSH or working towards.
  • O Level equivalent English.

  • Team development and training.
  • SAP knowledge is ideal but not required.
